Weaving patterned bands from Mora, Sweden

There is a page showing the pattern draft and threading in detail. This video shows how to weave narrow bands which have three background threads in between each pattern thread. This type of weave structure is common in the Dalarnas region in Sweden. The book, Moraband, has 100 patterns for this type of band. This video shows how to weave these bands using a rigid heddle and backstrap or an inkle loom. It was made as part of an online workshop run by the Braid Society discussion group, Braids and Bands.
