Russia: Nine Kazan school shooting victims transferred to Moscow for treatment

Subscribe to our channel! Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) plane carrying nine Kazan school shooting victims landed at Moscow’s Zhukovskiy airport on Wednesday. The patients were welcomed by doctors and mobile intensive care units to transfer them to hospitals for further treatment. EMERCOM’s press service reported that four of the victims are currently in grave condition and one more in critical condition. Seven students and two adults were killed during the attack at School No 175 in Tatarstan’s capital on Tuesday after a 19-year-old man opened fire in the building. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Leyla Fazleeva announced on Wednesday that the number of injured has increased from 21 to 23, including 20 children and three adults. The shooting suspect, former pupil Ilnaz Galyaviev, appeared in court on Wednesday and was charged with murder, and ordered to pre-trial detention for two months
