India: Train coaches converted into Covid-19 isolation rooms as country nears 20 million cases

With hospitals in the country’s major cities unable to guarantee basic services, some regions have created makeshift solutions to aid the country’s crumbling health system. With 368,147 new cases over the past 24 hours, India’s total infections stand at million, while total fatalities rose by 3,417 to 218,959, according to health ministry data.
