I posted a Short recently with the basics but there were still a lot of questions which I’ve hopefully managed to answer in this video. These bubbles won’t work with regular Scotch tape or sellotape. It needs to be double-sided nano tape which is available quite easily online and in many DIY stores. The rest is just practice and you should get the hang of it after a few attempts! This is the method that works best for me but there are many variations to this DIY. For instance, you don’t need to trim the tape beforehand, you don’t necessarily have to heat it (if the tape is thin enough) and you can also use a balloon pump instead of a straw. #diy #nanotape #crafts ♥ Shopping Links ♥ Nano tape kit with glitter and straw: , , , Nano tape from video (30mm): , , Thicker heavy-duty nano tape (this is the one seen on many viral videos): Glitter (chunky iridescent): Glitter (confetti shapes): DISCLAIMER: Amazon USA products are affiliate links which means I receive a very small commission if you buy it through here. MYTHBUSTING: Nano bubbles are not the same as magic balloons or “Bloonies“. These look similar but are two very different things. Bloonies is a paste made from PVA (harmless) and various chemical solvents like benzene (not so harmless). They were banned from sale in many countries but I’ve been coming across them again recently. The fumes from Bloonies are definitely not healthy to inhale. Nano tape is made from a stretchy polymer embedded with tiny nano-tube structures which give it adhesive properties. Nano tape does not contain PVA nor any of the solvents found in Magic Balloons. When you heat nano tape, it doesn’t give off any fumes although it does have a typical “tape smell“. I think this could also be the smell of the protective film which is very similar to normal clear tape. I think nano tape is safer to use than the toothpaste type of holdable balloons. ♥ More Viral Trend Videos ♥ 10 Viral Trends That Work - 10 Oddly Satisfying DIYs - Viral UHU Glue Bubbles - Viral “Frozen Water“ Laminar Balloons - Clay Cracking Test - ♥ My GERMAN Channel!
