THIS is how Plastic Model Kits are MADE! I spent a day at the UK Airfix Factory!

In November 2022 a press day was held at the UK factory which manufacturers quickbuild and the NEW Supermarine Spitfire in 1/24 scale from @OfficialAirfix . During the visit we were given presentations from Luke (researcher) and Chris (designer) on the various elements that go into creating the designs of the tooling. Join me in this video where I take a look at how plastic model kits are actually manufactured, focusing on the physical creation of the kits through injection moulding and quality control at the Plastech factory in Newhaven.
