His first love, east coast rap music, inspired him to order an SP1200 from the back of a magazine when there wasn’t a single music store in his home state of Arizona selling them. For years he toiled away learning how to make beats and rap, but never showed anyone. Even when he and his brother both owned hip hop shops in Tucson, hosting open mics and battle events in store, he still kept it secret.
