Nirvana - Milk It | Guitar and Bass Cover |

Covering The Melvins inspired Milk It, a personal favorite of mine. Using my Fender Kurt Cobain Signature Mustang, in the gorgeous Skystang finish. The Kurt Cobain Mustang is modeled after Skystang II, which is fitted with a black Seymour Duncan JB humbucker. Skystang I was Kurt’s main mustang on the In Utero tour, the only difference being it’s white JB humbucker. The Kurt Cobain Signature Mustangs were made in the same factory in Japan in which Kurt’s actual Skystangs were made. Pretty authentic! For bass, I am using my Ibanez Black Eagle 40th Anniversary reissue. Krist Novoselic used a Ibanez Black Eagle throughout Nirvana’s entire career, especially in the Bleach era. Both were recorded with my Avid Eleven Rack. I am making presets for each song’s clean and distorted tones for both the guitar and bass, trying to match the album tones as close as I can.
