The Battle of the Bulge would see many desperate battles fought, and none more so than the actons of the 30th Infantry Division against Kampfgruppe Peiper at Stoumont on the 19th Decemebr 1944. The battle was swift and hard, and would lead to the surrender of the American forces at stoumont but also the limit of Peipers advance west.
