Sonic’s Story Ending: Unused Dialogue Restoration

If you played Sonic Adventure, you’ve probably noticed that Sonic’s Story ending doesn’t have any voice clip, still the characters have mouth movements and it definitely looks like they are talking. Turns out, the Japanese version of SA1 has the voice lines which were planned for this cutscene, but they are obviously unused. I made a mod to restore all the dialogues. I had to edit the cutscene to make the mouth matches the voices, which means they probably scrapped this idea pretty early. You can find most of the unused audio content here: (Dreamcast)/Unused_Audio This mod is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while, mostly because I was really curious about the result. Obviously this will never be what Sonic Team had planned originally, the world will never know what it could have look like, but at least, I’m hoping it can give you a small preview.
