Mummy of Ramses II #shorts The mummy of Ramses was originally buried in tomb 7 in The Valley of the Kings. A few dynasties later, he was moved to his father’s tomb. He was moved again in antiquity and many other mummies to Deir el-Bahri, where he was discovered in 1871. Ramses now rests in Cairo at the Egyptian Museum. Ramses was red-headed as was his father Seti.
