Toyota’s New Engine Technical review Part 1 : Cooling,Lubrication,Direct Injection and EGR

In this series I will go over it’s key features that makes it different than other engines. In this part of the series I will go over the following systems of the engine : 1- Cooling system : With an electric water pump this engine gets a rapid warm up thanks to it’s priority cooling system using valves to direct coolant where needed. 2-Lubrication system : Variable pressure oil pump makes load on the engine low while optimizing pressure for continuous engine lubrication at all engine speeds.
