‘Corrosive effect’ of PC culture brought in focus by cartoonist critic Bill Leak

Sky News host Rowan Dean has reflected on the life of charismatic comedian and cartoonist Bill Leak who campaigned against the “corrosive effect” of political correctness on Aussie humour after drawing the ire of human rights activists over a depiction of Mohammed. Four years ago, a memorial service was held at Town Hall in Sydney attracting a gathering of politicians, policymakers, artists and literary figures to celebrate Mr Leak’s life after he died of a heart attack.
