Ok back to the 80s love affair of the late night jazz sound encapsulated by Swiss group Double. For a brief moment in the mid-80s, this cassette rarely left its carriage. Combined with burgeoning hormones, this was the sound of sex to my pubescent ears. I can’t describe why this was so appealing, perhaps it was the space around both the piano riff and the intermittent blows from the saxophone. And of course the lead vocal had just the right amount of loucheness for the time!
