Rishi Sunak: “the next general election isn’t a foregone conclusion“

The general election race is closer than the polls suggest, Rishi Sunak has said in his first public appearance since the final results of the local elections. Speaking during a visit in London, the Prime Minister insisted that the result of the general election was not a “foregone conclusion” as he projected some optimism after the results.
