Sam Altman expresses desire to work with Samsung Electronics and SK hynix

The announcement was made last Thursday during the ’K-Startup & OpenAI Matching Day’ held at OpenAI headquarters in San Francisco. Altman made a surprise appearance at the event, to select ten K-startups that will collaborate with OpenAI. When asked about the possibility of a collaboration between the U.S. AI company and Samsung Electronics and SK hynix in manufacturing AI chips, he said he’s visited the two companies twice in the past six months, calling them fantastic companies.
