Things have been busy, so this video has taken a lot longer to get finished than I had hoped. About 10 years ago, I made a skeleton foam and mylar Clipped Wing Cub to put UMX electronics in. It was one of my first real micro scratch builds, and to this day, it’s one of my favorite planes. I love slow flyers and doing aerobatics with stuff that doesn’t look like it should be very aerobatic. A few months back the thought popped into my head to make one BIGGER and SLOWER. The original was built using 3mm Depron, so to avoid having to do any re-work of the CAD, I just doubled the size of the drawings and used FT maker foam with the paper removed.
