DELTARUNE Chapter 2: A CYBER’S WORLD? (Art Rock Version) || StringGaige

To be honest, I didn’t think I’d be able to make another because of a lot of comparisons I was making to other guitarists and producers in the same space at the time despite obtaining new instruments and plugins in an attempt to reinvigorate my creativity (all of which can be heard in this recording). But I eventually reaffirmed myself that music is a genuine part of my life and involving myself in it, whether it be recording/mixing/mastering stuff or simply listening, brings me a sense of enthusiasm that I previously took for granted. I eventually chose to cover this song because I really liked the new installment of DELTARUNE especially since I gained a new appreciation for VGM music thanks to Toby Fox back in 2015 for his work on UNDERTALE, one of my favorite games ever. To summarize the influences behind this recording, I took inspiration from my recent remix of one of the songs from my close friend Danny aka Clip Thru Walls (found here: ) as well jazz fusion, shoegaze/blackgaze, and lastly but not least Porter Robinson (whose concert in Eugene I attended happened a few days after I began work on this cover!). I also spent a lot of time mixing and mastering because of me upgrading Ozone 9 to Standard and a deeper trust in my ears (and also my perfectionist tendencies snuck up on me without realizing, whoops!). I’m not sure when more stuff from will be coming out, but music production is something I want to keep working on right now because of the joy and value it brings me.
