Putin flies into Abu Dhabi with four Su-35 warplanes

Vladimir Putin travelled to Abu Dhabi with an escort of four fighter jets on Wednesday December 6. The Russian president arrives in the capital of the United Arab Emirates with the planes as the Cop28 climate summit continues. SU-35s are derived from Soviet-era fighter jets and often escort Russian presidents on trips abroad.
