Virtual Reality training for the Royal Dutch Army

The Royal Dutch Army uses SenseGlove’s Nova to train personnel for on-site equipment assemblies. SenseGlove’s Nova was implemented in a Virtual Reality training program for assembling a satellite receiver. Compared to traditional controllers, the Nova allows trainees to interact safely and intuitively without damaging expensive equipment. Thanks to SenseGlove’s patented force feedback, the trainees can feel the shapes, sizes, and density of the parts they are assembling. Trainees can physically interact with the virtual environment through motion tracking and vibrotactile feedback, allowing them to feel impacts, fastening clicks, and equipment vibrations in Virtual Reality training.
