Sonic 3 & Knuckles Part 12: Sky Sanctuary Zone (Hyper Sonic & Tails)

Sky Sanctuary is a sanctuary that’s high into the sky. Above Angel Island, Sonic & Tails see that the Death Egg has returned to its former, evil, Star Wars-inspired glory, and now unleashes Egg Robos all over the zone to keep the hedgehog at bay. It looks like Eggman used the Master Emerald’s power as fuel to get the Death Egg running again. Feeling tired and regretful, the only thing Knuckles does at this point is to make a bridge for Sonic & Tails to cross, and continue through the Sky Sanctuary on their own. If you duck a little bit to the right near Knuckles, he’ll speechlessly tell you to go on without him. It’s an interesting little Easter Egg. -------------- This zone is another zone that uses vertical looping, so it can look “taller“ than it is.
