A realtime Unreal Engine 4 video of our progress on the video game The Thing that we were developing with Universal. We used this video to try secure backing from another publisher after the original backed out. We turned this out in 1 month and it was running realtime in UE4.
I was responsible for the creature, Doc Meadows (the old dude), the tech behind the facial wrinkle maps (check my site for more info), overall look and feel, lighting, shading and VFX. As well as supervising and organising the environment team. I also had a hand in the direction of the scene.
YouTube has made the video look pretty bad, actual video is crisp and sharp.
