Across And Over-The Impossible Thing [Ep. 0] *Prologue*

Across And Over: The Impossible Thing. {A Prologue}: Everything living must eventually die. This is the beginning of the story about the exception. [Thank you so much for everyone who supported me while I was making this film! For those who don’t know, I created/animated this film entirely by myself over the last year and a half which is why everyones support means so much!. I had so much fun making it, and I can’t wait to get started on the rest of the story!] Visual Development for the show on Instagram!: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A few things I feel are important to mention. 1.) This is not the pilot. Its the prologue to the pilot while I learned how to make a film. (I’m still really new at this and I wanted to get some more experience before diving into episode 1.) While the events are currently cannon, I’m still fine tuning a couple things in the visual components of the story. I didn’t feel ready to visually introduce this story throughout its production, but I had the opportunity to make a film and I’ve been following Rebecca Sugars advice to create something. Anything. And a lot of it. And now that this is complete, I finally feel ready to begin. I’m ready to start writing the proper pilot now :) 2.)The hardest part of making this, was that skill-wise, my art was in a transitional period of growth during the year and half it took to make, so even though my style and skill were rapidly changing and improving, I had to keep the style the same as how it was at the beginning of production. This made it really hard to keep the motivation to finish it these past couple of months because while I wanted to make work that showed off my current skills and style, I had already put so much time into this project that it felt like I was letting down my past self to leave it unfinished. As I made final edits I found little ways to clean up and put some love into older scenes but there was only so much I could do without just starting from scratch. I’m proud of this film. Its a big part of the story I’m writing so if this film does anything, I hope it introduces and brings interest to some of the characters. I hope it shows the potential and the direction the story is heading towards in the future as I sharpen my ability to draw the the ideas I have in my head more accurately. 3.)This was my first time writing music, and as for the sound effects and volume, I am not yet a sound wizard. Please be kind I’m still learning :)) This show is my dream. This is just the beginning.
