Israeli forces assault the members of the Alian family when defending their land from being seized.

Israeli police showed up at the Alian family house in Beit Safafa, a town south of occupied Jerusalem to seize their property and land. The Israeli government is attempting to make more room for the settlement of Giv’at HaMatos and is kicking the Alian family out of their land, which is more than 6 acres that has been passed down through generations. Israeli police resorted to violence once the Alian brothers resisted their home and land being taken, beating them on the ground and being forceful. As they were being brutally assaulted by the police, their shouts of “My land, my land!” can be heard. Palestinian homes and land in occupied Jerusalem are constantly being seized and taken to expand illegal Israeli settlements, as well as house illegal settlers.
