Miking Drums With FOUR SM57’s? Shure DMK57-52 Test

I just recently bought a set of new microphones / interface for recording my drum set. Here’s my first recording test (just some highlights from 15 minutes of random improv). The microphone set up is primarily based around Shure SM-57’s. I like this set up as the microphones are versatile, bright, and will also be great for recording situations that don’t involve drums. For this rig, I’m using SM57’s x4 and a Beta 52 to record the kick. Pretty happy with the initial results and can definitely make things work better with more tweaks.
