Ryan Hall is an American black belt and a professional MMA fighter in the UFC’s featherweight division. Hall’s grappling style is very flashy and entertaining; he dives for a variation of the Imanari roll, pulls deep half, inverts to the triangle, and heel hooks from his signature 50/50 guard. Ryan has competed against the biggest names in the sport and holds wins over; Jeff Glover, Wilson Heis, and Hermes Franca to name a few. He has won The Ultimate Fighter submitting two of his opponents by heel hook. He was also awarded Submission of the Year 2018 by submitting the legendary BJ Penn by heel hook.
