In this edition of Build With DIMO, co-founder of DIMO Andy Chatham sits down with the co-founder of Grass, Andrej Radonjic, to discuss the rise of #DePIN. @GetGrass is a key piece of infrastructure for supplying AI labs with training data. They’ve united a network of residential internet users, who download their web app to automatically sell excess internet bandwidth. Open source AI labs then crawl the web to train new language models, and users are rewarded for their unused internet. The end result is owning a piece of the network by selling a resource you didn’t even know you had.
