Zurya, Goddess of water is responsible for different realities on different planets, she as a benevolent deity allowed a father who had been corrupted and transformed into a deformed monster, to be able to see his family for 10 years in his body restored by the energy of the Goddess herself. For him to see his son grow up, and after that he would fulfill his promise to the Goddess to go to the next incarnation by erasing his memory without resistance.
