Peeps Through The Window Of The World No. 20 (1935)

Titles read: ’PEEPS THROUGH THE WINDOW OF THE WORLD’. Various locations of events. In the United States of America we see various shots of a Black Widow Spider crawling along a branch. Commentator says that “their sting means death, and they have become the leading public enemies for immediate extermination“. We then see various shots of Mr Joseph Hackett with a model steam traction engine he built from scrap. (Location of events unknown.) In London we see a view of the famous Shot Tower as we look along Commercial Road towards an arch of Waterloo Bridge. Rather dark shots show a pub called The Feathers on two storeys. The entrance to the top storey is up a flight of steps. Commentator says one storey is in Southwark and the other in Lambeth. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
