Peeps Through The Window Of The World No. 64 (1935)

Titles read: ’PEEPS THROUGH THE WINDOW OF THE WORLD ’. Various locations of events. In Thanet, Kent, we see various shots of greengrocer Mr Turner driving about town in his car, towing an old bedstead with groceries on top of it. He says he cannot afford to buy a trailer. He stops outside a house and takes some vegetables into the house. Somewhere else in England we see a window cleaner riding about on an old ’bone-shaker’ bicycle. It looks very uncomfortable - there are no tyres, just steel wheels - one big and one slightly smaller. The man is seen cleaning the windows of a cottage. He then stands looking over the shoulder of a man who is fixing something in the engine of his car. Finally, the man goes home on his bike. In South Africa we see a black sow and her 17 piglets. They are all colours and shades and look extremely cute! FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
