Peeps Through The Window Of The World No. 36 (1935)

Titles read: “PEEPS THROUGH THE WINDOW OF THE WORLD“. Various locations of events. On the Isle of Man we see a sundial that seems to be a bus stop board. Commentator says when the shadow of an adjoining wall comes in line with the centre of the board noon is indicated. We see another sundial that has 13 faces and is also a moondial. At unidentified location (United States of America?) we see an autogyro landing in a garden. Two men fold the rotor blades away and push it into a garage. In Germany we see several shots of large balloons taking off at some kind of rally. Nazi swastikas are clearly seen on the balloons and armbands of attendants. One balloon is christened with liquid air (oxygen?). The balloon rises higher and higher, then we see the view as we drift over the countryside. A man in our basket makes notes. We brush roughly against some trees then come down to land in a field. People rush to help fold in the balloon. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLIN
