Here & There (1933)

Titles read: “Here & There with our cameraman. The search for novelty and interest is unceasing and results in many and varied finds. Sometimes they are far afield - but often are to be found at our very door.“ Various locations of events. In an Oxford Street we see two men in armour being asked for help by two damsels in distress who throw themselves at their feet. The knights take the girls off to their two-seater and turn the front crank to start the car. M/S of traffic lights turning from ’Stop’ to ’Go’. The car drives off and we see a “scurvy knave“ running after them. Various shots of furniture with the legs and structure made from electric light tubing. We see tables, chairs and a bookcase. The designer, Mr Collier, lounges in one of his chairs and works on a new design at a desk. (Probably filmed in London). Several shots of the tallest electric floating crane in the world.
