Titles read: “The Potter’s Art - filmed at Compton, Guildford.“ Various shots show a potter at work on a wheel, men tying a mould together over clay, clay being dug out from a pit and mixed with ’grog’ to give it more body using a horse-powered contraption. A man works on lumps of clay and fixes it into a mould. The mould is taken away from an urn. Men work on finished figures. Pottery vases and urns are piled up to cool.
