Feminine Pictorialities No. 49 - Sailors And Straws (1935)

Titles read: ’NOW SOMETHING FOR THE LADIES! FEMININE pictorialities No. 49 “SAILORS and STRAWS“.’ Probably shot in United States of America. Various shots of women modelling the latest styles of hats. The first is a Breton sailor hat in straw, with the underside of the brim covered in daisies. The model wears a matching daisy cape and smokes a cigarette in a holder. The next hat is a “military felt sailor“ - the main part of the hat seems to be straw with the brim in felt. The next hat is trimmed with lily of the valley flowers. The last hat is a beautiful feathered concoction. Seems to be a velvet band trimmed with stiff dark feathers and tulle. Note: all hats designed by Madame Nicole. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
