Peeps Through The Window Of The World No. 61 (1935)

Titles read: ’PEEPS THROUGH THE WINDOW OF THE WORLD ’. Both items filmed somewhere in England. In a suburban street a woman puts her toddler son on the bottom shelf of a hostess or tea trolley so that she can take him out with her when she goes shopping. He looks quite comfortable down there with a couple of cushions and the dog sits up and begs because he wants to go too. Mad shot of the woman pushing the trolley along the pavement, with the dog on the top shelf and the boy on the bottom! She stops at a greengrocer’s and puts her shopping and parcels on the top shelf. We then see several shots of an Alsatian dog with a white rat (commentator says it is a mouse, but it is too big) in a garden. The dog watches while the rat has a drink of milk from a bowl. Then the dog goes for a walk with the rat swinging from a little trapeze held in the dog’s mouth. Last shot shows a white mouse (this one is not a rat) having a go on the trapeze. (This is a weird one!) Last item from this ’PEEPS’ showin
