Peeps Through The Window Of The World No. 57 (1935)

Titles read: ’PEEPS THROUGH THE WINDOW OF THE WORLD’. Various locations of events. At Gateshead-on-Tyne, Durham County, we see several shots of the largest goat farm in the north of England. Mr Charles Bulpit, a rather eccentric-looking character in a beret and patterned tank top, runs out of an enclosure with the goats and pets them, giving them titbits. We see two goats locking horns on a sort of goat climbing frame. Nice goat shots! In Arnside in Lancashire we see two tall trees growing side by side that are twisted together near the base. Commentator says they must have taken root side by side and got twisted together as they grew up. A man walks through one of the knots of the trees. In Wallsend, we see Mr Bainbridge and his model passenger ship that he spent 7 years building. He adjusts parts on the ship, including a tiny ship’s wheel and life belts. The name of the boat is ’Rose - Newcastle’ and it will eventually be fitted with a small petrol engine. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM B
