Viktor Kuprevich: Mazurka, Op. 138

Viktor Kuprevich (1925 - 2005) Amost nothing is known about Viktor Kuprevich. He was born in Kaunas, Lithuania. He studied composition at the Moscow Conservatory with Anatoly Alexandrov. A prolific composer, his output includes ballets, oratorios, orchestral, instrumental and vocal works. He wrote 2 orchestral Symphonies, Nos. 1 (1960) and 2 (1969).
