---- IS THIS FILM ACTUALLY REAL ?? THE ATMOSPHERE? Is it real or just a dream. THINGS LIKE THIS CAN ACTUALLY EXIST??? ... there’s no fantastical element in it or part of the plot but it’s soo eerie and ghostly ??? cause yes everything that was filmed existed and was there but the atmosphere and but it won’t be like this if you go. The soundtrack, the colour and images. Especially that scene it’s a dream like a daze or hypnotic state???? ... Delon’s voice and expressions & the background music are so haunting. - ALAIN is haunting in this film. The way he acts - its like he’s not fully human but he came to earth ... an angel imitating a human and constantly admiring his human form? he’s so in love with himself. That’s not even the story/book but i wonder if there is a deliberate undercurrent of that ... the film’s own interpretation for him to act eccentrically and like he’s partly not from this world??? bc why was he so fascinated by the fish market loooo
