Rite of Spring - Kevin Zhu

Rite of Spring is an orchestra piece (originally ballet) composed by Igor Stravinsky. This piece demonstrates ultra-modernism by using discords, unconventional harmonies, and complex time signatures. The timpani part that I played comes from the end in part 4 of the piece, in which the time signature constantly shifts between 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, and 5/4, creating technical challenges for me to coordinate with the orchestra.
