Adobe VoCo (aka Project Voco) from Adobe Research and Princeton University is going to change the way you edit a voice over session. You’ll be able to change the words a voiceover says simply by typing or by copy, cut and paste. The same as you would do in a word processor apart from the fact that the waveform is updating in real time. It’s like Photoshop for voiceovers which means we should be aware that a voice may be “Photoshopped“ by Adobe VoCo.
All you need is 20 minutes of a voiceover session, narration, audio book, podcast and you’re good to go. You can start to make any voice in the world say exactly what you type. Cool, hey?!
This was an Adobe sneak peak reveal at the Adobe Max Conference 2016 in San Diego, California with Zeyu Jhin and Jordan Peele.
