Live from Slinningsbålet 2023

Watch the amazing bonfire Slinningsbålet in Aalesund Norway burn, live at 24th of June from 8 PM CEST. This is a midsummer tradition, going way back, where local youths spend almost two months together building, just by hand, every night. Local companies support them with materials, food and pallets, but they do it for free to have fun together and keep the tradition alive. Back in the days there were bonfire almost everywhere in the city competing, but this one is the last one still standing. They sat the world record in 2016 with 47,4 meters. Give them a high five! This is Slinningsbålet 2023.
