The Berlin tuba F. Made by Julius Lemcke. This manufacturer was active in Berlin from 1847 to 1866. The first tubas were developed in Berlin around 1835 shortly after the invention of valve technology. In that year Wilhelmina Wieprecht and Carl Wilhelm Moritz received a patent for a brass tuba in F with five Berliner Pumpen valves. Tuba played impeccably by Daniel Ridder.
