GOALKEEPER TRAINING | HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR TOUCH

As goalkeepers our touch, balance, awareness, control and composure have to be at a high level.. In this session with the WFC Watford academy keepers we look at a session working on the goalkeepers touch, control and passing. With 8 progressions there is something for all levels and abilities. 1. Receive a pass in to the square - your touch has to stay in the square and enable you to play the pass back. 2. Receive a pass in to the square - your touch has to take you outside of the square in to space and passing back to the server. 3. Goalkeeper works there feet to any mannequin then receives a pass in to the square - your touch can be close or in to space. 4. The goalkeeper takes a ball to the outside of the square then receives a pass in to the square - your touch can be close or in to space. 5. This time the goalkeeper has 2 balls to choose from, they have to take a ball to the outside of the square then receive a pass in to the square - your touch can be close or in to space.
