Construction of RMS Olympic (1910) - extract

This extract shows the Titanic’s sister ship RMS Olympic (mistakenly called SS OIympic in the film) under construction. This remarkable human and technical achievement was carried out at Belfast’s Harland & Wolff shipyards between 1908 and her launch in October 1910. Titanic was under construction in the adjoining berth but as she had been laid down several months after Olympic very little genuine footage of the ill-fated liner exists.
