Blocking Out - Blender Character Sculpt Tutorial part 1
Hi! This is the start of a tutorial series where we will be creating a stylized character sculpt from start to finish.
Part 1: Blocking out - The blockout phase of this particular workflow is very important. It’s at this step of the process that we get our proportions and shapes as close as we can to save time later on.
I created a reference sheet from a previous sculpt that you can download at :
Hope you enjoy this slower, more chill sort of sculpting vid!
Ahead in the coming weeks we’ll cover:
-Setting up references & Blocking out the character -
-Merging the Blockout & Sculpting -
-Sculpting the head -
-Head Retopology -
-Body Retopology -
-Rigging -
-Hair -
-Clothes and Accessories -
-Materials -
-Lights & animating a turnaround
