2 ALARM STRUCTURE FIRE Lakewood New Jersey 4/15/22

OC - Lakewood - 234 Lincoln St. - Structure Fire - 2nd Alarm Around 11:20 PM Lakewood Police got a report of a working structure fire based on details of Engine 5 arriving they struck a general alarm for the township. E-5 had heavy fire out the C-D first-floor windows extending towards the roof. Crews made a push inside with 1.3/4 attack line and knocked bulking of the fire on the first and second floors. That fire quickly spread to the attic area where crews couldn’t reach it. The fire started to spread to the roofline and crews were inside trying to open the ceiling as best as possible to hit the fire. Ultimately the fire spread was uncontrollable with the inside line and they switched to a defensive position with master streams. They quickly knocked the fire with these then went back inside to finish the attack job. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Stations on the fire ground.
