Dave Courtney interview (2008)

In 2008 “celebrity“ gangster Dave Courtney visited the Costa Blanca. He was booked to do a Q&A at the Lounge Bar, Costa Blanca talking about his very colourful life. I interviewed him prior to his shows. this is the full 30 min interview which was made into three episodes. Yes it’s long, but I think very interesting. Dave Courtney was born in Bermondsey in 1959. He often focuses on his links with gangsters such as Reggie Kray and Lenny McLean although in the case of the former, he was nine years old when Kray was imprisoned. Courtney has claimed to have been shot, stabbed, had his nose bitten off, and stated that he has had to kill to stay alive. He makes the claim that his involvement in a car crash on the M20 was an attempt by “someone who had a grudge against him“ to kill him.
