Voltage Modular Beat Controlled Mostly By LFOs with VCO, plus drums.

This beat started with two Super Oscillators’s with the triangle and square wave output of four LFO’s controlling various aspects of the wafeforms, and also being mixed to create the control voltage for a VCA for each Oscillator. Normally envelope generators are used to control the VCA, but in this case square waves from various LFOs were mixed to create a complex envelope, which, because of the unrelated frequencies of the LFOs, combine into an interesting polyrhythm. An 8-step sequencer was then mixed with the pitch to play a series of notes around the note played on the keyboard, and some skews were used to create a glide between notes, with a faster rise rate, and a slower fall rate. Those skews were then slowed even further, and a third oscillator was added at a higher frequency, with a faster skew rate, to create another movement in the piece. Finally a drum rhythm sequencer was added, and various drum modules were used to create R and L rhythms, and some LFOs were used t
