Real Jazz - Andy & The Bey Sisters - Smooth Sailing

This is a rare clip of Andy and The Bey Sisters performing the Arnett Cobb composition “Smooth Sailing“ in a late-nite jam session in Paris, France circa 1964 . The group includes Andy Bey - piano, his sisters Salome and Geraldine - vocals, Pierre Michelot - bass (?) and Kenny Clarke - drums. This film footage is prior to their recording their “Round Midnight“ album for Prestige Records February and May of 1965.
