The song was written by Brandon Lake, Chris Brown, and Steven Furtick. Chris Brown and Aaron Robertson handled the production of the single. “Rattle!“ peaked at number sixteen on the US Hot Christian Songs chart despite not being an official single. “Rattle!“ was initially released by Elevation Worship as a lyric video on YouTube on April 15, 2020. The song was officially released as the third promotional single of Graves into Gardens on April 24, after going viral on YouTube, amassing over 1.2 million views. The song is written in the key of Eb and remains major for the most part but toys with the minor blues scale at certain points contributing to the big American rock sound. Although the song is not exactly a piano driven song many of the keys sounds are very crucial to the overall dense rock sound of the song and so I’ve recreate many of them in Mainstage 3.
