Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge2 Romans 12:19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. As we see the apostles speaking to the Saints of Rome we see something shared with God’s people that is important for you and I to remember today. The Apostle says for us not to seek revenge but leave room for God’s Wrath, you and I do not want to get in the way of God’s Wrath for if we do then a portion of that wrath has to be poured out on us too. It is almost as if we have two children but one of them has done something wrong and has to get punished the other child does not want to try and get in the way of the punishment that was designated for the first child for if they do and they will receive some punishment as well. My prayer for each of us when we are mistreated or done wrong trust that God is going to take repay them at the proper time and in his own way. let us not interfere with that so
